Visit the workshops of the Pacific Vapeur Club where the 231 G 558 steam locomotive which
came out of the Batignolles-Chatillon workshops in Nantes in 1922 is currently undergoing a
major overhaul. 283 of these locomotives were built and they pulled express and fast trains
on the Paris-Cherbourg and Paris-Le Havre lines. This 90-plus year old locomotive will
carry you right back to the past.
