that has been miraculously preserved since the 12th century. The Gothic manor has retained the character of a seigniorial manor over nine centuries. Soon after the year 1500, the St-Gorgon chapel was built, which would later inspire Guy de Maupassant and the traditional Norman costumes drawn by Lanté and Gatîne.
Ancient apple trees, a box tree maze and other plants cultivated by Charlemagne in the 9th
century coexist in this veritable medieval garden. Comprising medicinal plants, spices, fruits and roses, it is enriched with a water path in memory of the journeys to the Orient made by its creators.
